To compliment the release of its hit-show Narcos, Netflix partnered with WSJ. Custom Studios to create the interactive site cocainenomics.com . As well as infographics, a game and even responsive lines of cocaine, the site featured two in-depth documentaries. The first film follows the infamous hunt for Pablo Escobar, told directly from DEA agents Javier Pena and Steve Murphy, (on whom the show's lead characters are based). The second film, shot on location in Colombia, hears Medellin's own citizens describe the incredible comeback their city has made since the violence of the 1990's.
